Soup Kitchen
Anyone is welcome as a guest for a hot, nutritious meal at Jubilee Soup Kitchen, 365 days a year. Kitchen staff and volunteers welcome guests into the community of the kitchen and each guest is treated with dignity and respect.
- The kitchen is open between 9:30 to 10:30 am every day for coffee and doughnuts.
- Lunch is served between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Food is also available for guests to take with them.
Some typical menus for lunch include hot dogs and mashed potatoes with gravy or spaghetti with meat sauce as the main course. Most meals include a salad, fruit, desert, juice, milk, and coffee.

Typically about 125 - 250 guests have lunch at Jubilee, with the number increasing to 150 or more on the weekends and holidays when other kitchens close.
Between six to eight volunteers help out each day, starting with prep work around 9:30 am and staying through serving meals and cleanup through 1:00 pm. Some volunteers with limited time available stay for shorter times, generally to help with serving meals. There are two cooks, with one on duty each day.
