Because
of InfoLink's tremendous impact, its administrators
and instructors wanted to
create a public resource that would continue to promote issues surrounding
youth and technology throughout the United States and the world.
This section contains valuable information on how to replicate the
InfoLink program model and other resources on youth workforce
development and the digital divide.
InfoLink
may work well in developing countries. Governments or large businesses
of such countries should develop policies that enable their universities
and colleges to consider partnerships
like those created through the InfoLink program. Identifying and
establishing funding is a major issue. InfoLink is expensive, including
the cost of instructors, staff, and internship pay to students –
but it is successful.
